Der Rangierwagenheber, auch Hydraulikheber oder Krokodil genannt, ist wohl eine der beliebtesten Liftarten, für die sich die meisten Mechaniker wegen des Komforts entscheiden. Es besteht meist aus einem Vierradrahmen, in dem ein oder zwei Hydraulikzylinder montiert sind.

Die Vorteile dieses Wagenhebertyps sind, dass sie extrem einfach zu bedienen sind, da sie nicht viel Kraftaufwand erfordern, um das Fahrzeug anzuheben. Zudem haben sie oft auch eine sehr hohe Maximalhöhe, die im Vergleich zu anderen Wagenhebern einen höheren Hub des Autos ermöglicht.

Die Räder des Rollers tragen auch dazu bei, dass der Wagenheber unter dem Auto richtig positioniert ist, was ein Kippen des Fahrzeugs verhindert und somit zu mehr Arbeitssicherheit führt.

Beachtung! Beim Arbeiten mit Rangierwagenhebern ist der Einsatz von Unterstellböcken unverzichtbar. Nach dem Anheben des Fahrzeugs sofort die Unterstellböcke unter der Karosserie einstellen und das Fahrzeug absenken, danach auch den Wagenheber absenken.

Auf diese Weise sorgen Sie nicht nur für einen größeren Arbeitsraum, sondern auch für die Erhaltung der Hydraulik. Die Kraft des Fahrzeugs drückt auf die Hydraulik, die diese Kraft nicht halten, sondern nur anheben soll.

Der wichtigste Grund für den Einsatz der Unterstellböcke ist jedoch eine höhere Sicherheit. Sie verhindern ein plötzliches Herunterfallen des Fahrzeugs durch den Verschleiß der Hydraulik im Wagenheber. Hiermit sorgen Sie für Ihre lange Lebensdauer und auch die Lebensdauer Ihres Fahrzeugs.
