Zum Strahlen von Aluminium, Felgen und Blechen empfiehlt sich feiner Sand. Bei Oberflächen mit harten Lacken oder strapazierfähigen Oberflächen ist es jedoch sinnvoller, gröberen Sand zu verwenden.

Beachtung! Das richtige Strahlmittel ist nicht genug ...

Vergessen Sie nicht! Die Effizienz des Sandstrahlens hängt nicht nur vom Strahlmittel ab, sondern auch von der Größe der verwendeten Düse und der Leistung Ihres Kompressors.

Kompressorgröße und Förderleistung sind beim Sandstrahlen entscheidend. Um einen konstanten Sandfluss zu erreichen, empfehlen wir Ihnen, sich mit einem Kompressor mit einer Kapazität von 150 l oder mehr auszustatten. Diese Kompressoren liefern oft auch den für das Sandstrahlen empfohlenen erforderlichen Druck und Förderstrom (oft 6 bis 8 bar und +170 L/min). Neben dem Dauerbetrieb schaltet sich der größere Kompressor im Betrieb seltener ein. Dies wiederum verlängert die Lebensdauer Ihres Kompressors.

Auch die Größe der Düse Ihrer Strahlpistole ist wichtig. Es wird empfohlen, dass die maximale Körnung des ausgewählten Sandes dreimal kleiner ist als die Größe der verwendeten Düse. Wenn Sie also Sand mit einer Körnung von bis zu 1 mm verwenden, dann benötigen Sie eine Düse, die größer oder größer als 3 mm ist.
